Founder

Eric Xie is currently a Junior at Geffen Academy at UCLA and the founder of the Youth Coders League, which first took root in the Palms-Rancho Park Library. He is passionate about many different kinds of STEM subjects, including Math, Physics, and Programming. He hopes to share his coding knowledge with young kids and inspire creative thinking in the next generation.

Co-Founder

Nathan Li is a sophomore at Geffen Academy at UCLA and the co-founder of the Youth Coders League. He is passionate about empowering young learners by providing engaging and supportive educational experiences. Nathan emphasizes the importance of effective communication, encouraging students to ask for help, and building confidence through collaboration. His goal is to foster a positive mindset in children through consistent encouragement and connection. In partnership with Eric Xie, he hopes to inspire the next generation by sharing his enthusiasm for social connection, learning, and healthy brain development.

Westwood Teen Volunteer

Vihaan Nawathe is a freshman at North Hollywood Highly Gifted Magnet and a volunteer for the Youth Coders League. He is passionate about teaching young minds how to critically think and problem solve, with coding being a great outlet to hone these skills. He started coding from a young age and originally had a hard time understanding it, but later became proficient after perpetual practice and exemplary instruction. He believes that everyone can achieve anything they set their mind to and hopes to spread this belief into the next generation.
